- The Authentic Food Company has appointed Robert Gong as development chef and head of product sourcing (Europe) to work with new product development (NPD) controller Lee Tynan and his team to develop dishes from around the world. He joins after a two-year stint as development manager at Brakes and brings 13 years of industry experience to the role.

Hamish Renton takes up the role of commercial director desserts with responsibility for account management, innovation and consumer marketing. Lochlain Feeley becomes Renton's opposite number in the Food on the Move category while Andrew Kendall is the new marketing director.
Morgan O'Brien has joined frozen convenience foods firm CFH as its group technical services manager. Based at the CFH Standlake, Oxfordshire site, he is responsible for managing all technical operations and ensuring that food is produced to the highest standards.
Kate Richmond has joined Kitchen Range Foods as new product development manager. She has previously held NPD, technical and buying positions at Hillsdown, RHM and Elisabeth the Chef.
- Bodmin-based pasty manufacturer Proper Cornish has increased its use of local companies after the appointment of new purchasing manager David Allen, who has been tasked with reducing food miles.
- Darren Wood has joined Paragon Quality Foods as factory manager and is based at its £5m centre of excellence in Doncaster, reporting to md Metin Pekin. Previously, he spent 23 years with another Yorkshire-based meat products manufacturer.
