Dutch company Infrabaker International has developed a modular quartz infrared continuous cooking oven which is now being used around the world.

The oven is designed to cook or brown a wide range of products such as bacon, chicken filets, patties, salmon, cheese and vegetables. Infrared heating offers the advantages of: low product loss; optimal energy use; an oil-free cooking process; high flexibility; and consistent product quality. Cooking requires no other medium, such as cooking oil, hot air or steam. The direct emission of energy into the product results in a minimal loss of liquids and a high yield.

In Germany, Tulip Fleischwaren Oldenburg, part of the Tulip group and a subsidiary of Danish Crown, purchased the oven for the colouring of its sausages. Also in Germany, Tillman's Fleisch & Convenience uses the oven for cooking and browning different meat preparations.
