Dieters craving a guilt-free pastry fix will be rejoicing over the news that a cheese and onion savoury pastry roll has been developed under licence by Anthony Alan foods, for the Weight Watchers brand.
The roll, designed for no-fuss snacking, is filled with a blend of low-fat mature cheeses with diced onion and fresh potato wrapped in a flaky pastry. Each roll weighs 65g, has a total of three Weight Watchers points and contains 158 calories and 3.9g saturated fat.
The firm claims that the product is a tasty treat for vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike. The roll is being marketed towards consumers on the move so that people can incorporate healthy eating into their busy lifestyles.
