Witt Gas Techniques, the gas safety, control, mixing and analysis equipment supplier, will be exhibiting and providing information on a range of gas distribution, mixing and analysis equipment for modified atmosphere packaging (MAP) on stand DO5.

The range includes Leak-Master micro leak detection systems. These offer fully automatic and manual leak detection for food packers supplying rigid and flexible MAP using vacuum, thermoforming, chamber, and form, fill and seal packaging machines.

The newest product is Leak-Master Mapmax, an automatic in-line micro leak detection system for automatic quality control on the entire packaging line. It is non-destructive and uses carbon dioxide detection technology, eliminating the need for costly helium testing.

The Pack-Vac leak detection system is now available in two versions - one for detecting leaks without the need for a trace gas and one with a special attachment for testing leaks from vacuum packs.

PA-O2 and PA-O2/CO2 gas analysers measure the oxygen and the carbon dioxide content in MAP packs, helping to maintain product quality. They are designed for either continuous or intermittent analysis.

The Oxybaby V and Oxybaby M are two small, hand-held, cordless gas analysers for oxygen and carbon dioxide powered by re-chargeable batteries.
