Dairy Crest Ingredients further strengthened its Technical Sales Team this month with the appointment of Jo Watson as technical support manager.

Although a newcomer to the team of skilled food technologists based at The Technical Centre, Crudgington, Shropshire, Watson has worked for parent company Dairy Crest Ltd for the past six years.

She joined Crudgington Creamery in 2001 as a Lab Technician before being promoted in 2004 to Systems Co-ordinator where she dealt with both quality and environmental issues.

A farmer’s daughter from Market Drayton, Watson previously worked for MAFF where her administrative role involved her in visiting many farms in the area.

She will now play a key role in establishing new working relationships with customers and in the development of value added dairy ingredients in her new post.

“I am keen to build upon my knowledge of the dairy ingredients sector and look forward to working in this new and challenging environment”, says Watson.
