Hygiene and safety advice for SMEs

Johnson Diversey has appointed Needlers to provide hygiene and health and safety advice to its smaller clients in the food and drinks sector. Needlers, which supplies cleaning products, protective workwear and associated equipment, will now provide support for open plant cleaning and internal equipment cleaning to factories that spend less than £20,000 on cleaning chemicals.

These companies will benefit from Needlers' methodology recommendations, training, auditing, full support literature and cleaning chemical dosage checks. They will also have the back up of Needlers' in-house engineer.

"We see this as a wonderful opportunity to work with our smaller food factories to offer a one-stop solution with the technical back-up of a major chemicals supplier," said Needlers' md Alistair Needler. "By offering this service on behalf of Johnson Diversey, we are allowing for the growth and progression of smaller businesses that may one day become big players in the industry."
