Keyboard covers fend off dirt with ions
Inpace has incorporated silver ions into its Keyboard Gloves, which are used as a covering to protect computer keyboards and other hardware operated by touch from becoming contaminated by dirt or bacteria.
Inpace said the addition of the new element would help to combat bacteria, which are rendered unable to reproduce by contact with the silver ions.
The company said the ions would remain active for the life of the glove, guarding against bacteria such as Listeria, E. coli and MRSA.
Inpace's Keyboard Gloves are mode of polyurethane and can be used to cover items such as touch screens and hand held tablets, preventing the accumulation of contaminants.
The products protect against dust, staples, food particles and liquid spills. They also resist oil, grease, chemicals and most aggressive agents. Inpace can produce bespoke products that meets client requirements, added the company.
