Mechline's Sani-Floor is a self-cleaning floor system that fits flush with the floor surface so that liquid spills and food debris fall through the grate into the basin below. Solids are caught by a filter tray for easy disposal. Sani-Floor non-slip floor grates feature a rough textured surface and are made from tough fibreglass resin, cutting the risk of slips and falls. The floor stays dry and free of debris. The floor system can be installed in any food production or dispense area.

Sani-Floor features automatic, high-pressure, cold-water nozzles which blast food debris off the sides of the basin and into a filter tray. Washdown takes only seconds and can be set hourly or as the operation demands. There is also a manual over-ride to tackle spills immediately.

Sani-Floor can be installed side-by-side or end-to-end to provide any length or width configuration. Bespoke lengths and designs can also be provided to suit individual site and operational requirements.

When the prevention of slips and falls, reduction in staff time off, and compensation payments are all taken into account, as well as the savings on cleaning materials, rubber mats and labour, Sani-Floor can achieve payback in as little as 12 months, says Mechline.
