Seal-less peristaltic pumps provide accurate dosing
The Verderflex Autoclude OEM range of peristaltic pumps now account for 78% of Autoclude's sales. The pumps are available in a range from highly compact to the large and robust for arduous applications with wide-ranging motor, tube and flow rate options.
The Autoclude OEM pump is based on a patented, seal-less design which ensures that only the tube comes into contact with the fluid. This limits the possibility of contamination, and controls chemical compatibility problems. The simplicity of this design makes tube replacement exceptionally easy and quick. Maintenance is also minimised by the pump's ability to run without any additional lubrication.
Because there is no internal backflow in the Autoclude OEM pump, it provides accurate dosing with repeatability of typically ±0.5% and metering capability of ±2%. Its gentle pumping action allows it to be used for shear-sensitive solids and liquids. The pump is capable of self-priming so that it can handle products that are likely to 'air' or 'gas'.
A new addition to the OEM range is the easy tube-loading, stackable, peristaltic pump - ideal for multi-channel pumping, sampling and analysis. It provides flow rates from a few millilitres a minute up to 1.3 litres a minute.
