Mesh firm invests in customer support
After sales service support is important to ensure the smooth running of new machinery. That's why Russell Finex, manufacturer of industrial sieves, separation and filtration equipment, says it has conducted an extensive review of the spare parts that its customers most frequently request.
The company has used the review to improve its stockholding of spare parts. The goal of this is to quicken response times and keep production downtime to a minimum. It also aims to guarantee that genuine Russell replacement parts are fitted, which should ensure that machines continue to deliver high performance.
Russell Finex has also been investing in its meshing department to guarantee high quality and fast meshing or remeshing services. The mesh frame is one of the most critical components within a sieve and if it is damaged, low in tension or of low quality, it can hamper the product quality.
In addition, Russell Finex has spent £1M on a new enterprise resource planning system that has been tailored to suit the way the company communicates with its customers, manages the order cycle and helps with various other functions, including marketing, sales, production, planning, sourcing, procurement and finance.
