Heatseal equipment specialist Proseal is set to launch two new machines at the Foodex 2010 show in March.
Introduced as the company's top-of-the-range traysealer, the GT3 will seal over 150 trays a minute, suiting relatively high-speed production lines for products such as meat and fresh fruit. The tray transfer system is servo-driven, and automatically adjusts for different tray heights. For remote troubleshooting by Proseal engineers, the machine comes with a secure internet link as standard.
The traysealer joins other machines in the range, including the GT2.
At the opposite end of the output spectrum, the T2 is a hand-operated traysealer for speeds of up to just six packs a minute. It is said to be ideal for development work, small-scale production and retail operations.
