The md of food robotics body CenFRA (the Centre for Food Robotics and Automation) Steve Blazye has resigned.

The Doncaster-based centre, which helps manufacturers explore the benefits of increased automation, recently secured enough cash from Yorkshire Forward to tide it over until next spring but is hoping to achieve financial self-sufficiency by next autumn.

The centre is now being run by CenFRA Board member Stephen Smith.

FoodManufacture.co.uk is unable to report on the circumstances of Blazye’s departure for legal reasons.
