Kellogg's UK md steps down

Kellogg's UK md Greg Paterson has stepped down, with the food manufacturer appointing a temporary successor until it finds a suitable long-term replacement.

A spokesman for Kellogg's, which produces Corn Flakes, Rice Krispies and Special K, told FoodManufacture.co.uk: "Greg left the business at the end of February (a little over a month ago). He’s from the States and his UK assignment was due to come to an end during the first half of this year so his departure came only a short time before he was due to leave us."

"Flemming Sundoe joined us in the first week of March as regional vice president for the UK and Ireland. Prior to this he was md for our Nordic and German businesses. He’ll be here for an interim period of six months (based in Manchester) while we find a permanent successor."
