QC in butter production

Quality control (QC) will be a central feature of QCL's stand, with a variety of systems to meet the needs of the dairy sector.

The company's online QPAbutter system is designed to control butter production closer to moisture target values than ever before. Meanwhile, its QPAmilk concept is said to set new standards for online analysis and blending control of milk and whey. It enables several hundred litres of milk to be analysed an hour and returned to the process stream.

Also on show will be QPAoil to analyse edible oils and fats online and the QPApowder system for analysing fine and homogenous powders in a falling stream. Lastly, QCL's Quant Fourier transform near-infrared analyser provides rapid non-destructive analysis of food, drink, agricultural and related materials.
