Greggs appoints Kirkby to two new board roles

Kirkby will also take over as the chair of the audit committee, when Ian Durant is appointed as board chairman following the annual general meeting on May 15.

Kirkby is currently chief financial officer of global media production company, Shine Group, having joined them in 2011. Before this she was executive director of finance operations and transformation at Virgin Media, and spent two decades with consumer goods company Proctor and Gamble.

She is also a trustee and chair of the finance committee of In Kind Direct, one of The Prince’s Charities, and is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
