Don't fear failure in new markets: ingredients boss

“Don’t be afraid to fail” – that should be the mantra for struggling food firms who are trying to expand their offerings and exploit new markets.

That’s the view of fruit beverage and ingredient supplier David Berryman md Rachel Collins.

The change in strategy at David Berryman is now reaping its rewards with the company supplying a host of dessert, ice cream and yogurt manufacturers.

“Customers want to try a product today and launch tomorrow,” she said.
