Stein brings more than 40 years’ of experience in the food industry to the role. He spent 17 years on the executive team of Samworth Brothers, including a decade as ceo.
Before that he served on the executive team of Northern Foods for nine years.
Develop business and drive growth
He will serve on Karro’s board, and will work closely with the company’s management team and investment partners to develop the business and drive growth, the firm said.

Karro Food Group launched as an independent UK-based company in January 2013, following its sale by Vion.
