There’s still time to win a coveted Food Manufacturing Excellence Award (FMEA). It’s free to enter and winning could do your food and drink business a power good. So, why not measure your business against the best of the best in UK food and drink manufacturing?

Last year’s winner of the top title – the Food Manufacturing Company of the Year – Birds Eye brand owner Iglo Foods Group told FoodManufacture.co.uk recently that winning the trophy had boosted staff morale and impressed customers such as Tesco.

“We made a point of highlighting the win to our external retailers such as Tesco,” said Andy Weston-Webb, Birds Eye Iglo md UK and Ireland.

Last year, the firm won the Frozen Foods Manufacturing Company of the Year award before going on to win the top title.

Iglo planned to enter the awards again this year, said Weston-Webb. But could your business challenge the firm in the frozen foods category or for the overall award?
