Poultry processor Moy Park has appointed Ursula Lavery as its new technical director, Europe.

Lavery will play a “key strategic role” ​in establishing an integrated Europe-wide technical organisation and bring extensive knowledge and expertise to all business units and functions currently operating across Europe, Moy Park claimed.

Lavery, who has over 25 years’ experience in the food sector, will work with a number of global research organisations on a range of food safety and agriculture developments.

Several advisory boards

She currently sits on several advisory boards including the Food Standards Agency (FSA) Joint Working Group for Campylobacter Reduction, FSA Transport and Processing Sub Committee, British Poultry Council Biosecurity Group and is a member of the Scientific and Technical Committee at Campden BRI.
