Food Manufacturing Excellence Awards: vintage year

This year’s Food Manufacturing Excellence Awards (FMEAs) attracted a record number of entries and the calibre of those entries wowed the judging panel.

In this interview Wayne Morley, FMEA judge and group head of technical innovation at 2 Sisters Food Group, explained what made this year’s entries a vintage crop. Key trends were a deep focus on product quality, people development and category management, said Morley.

But would he reveal the identity of the firm which won the coveted Food Manufacturing Excellence of the Year award? Watch this video to find out. The full awards shortlist will be published next week.

Chairman of the FMEA judging panel is Paul Wilkinson.
