Spray guns apply chocolate and glaze coatings

New, purpose-designed spray guns and other equipment have been developed by Swiss company Krebs in conjunction with chocolate maker Barry Callebaut to make life easier for food processors that use these devices to apply coatings such as chocolate and glazes to food products.

The new Hotchoc is designed for spraying warm chocolate; the Oilspray, for applying releasing oils and glazes on to pizza, bakery products and their cooking containers; and the Spraybox for those wanting to contain mess and cut down on costly cleaning and extraction bills.

Until now, Krebss had offered food business customers its Multispray guns to apply thin and thicks liquids from thin oils and releasing agents to glazes and even chocolate and its Volumespray kit, where larger quantities of medium to thick materials such as butterfat, egg wash, glaze, jelly or sauces and marinades were involved.

With Hotchoc and OIlspray, it is now offering two specific food spray applications.

Krebs spray guns are available through UK partner Food Spray Guns.
