Olives ‘spiked’ with vodka and gin

The world’s first boozy olives for alcoholic drinks have been launched by Olives Et Al.

By preserving olives in lemon- or orange-infused gin or vodka, Olives Et Al hopes to target consumers who want to add an extra “kick” to cocktail hour at home.

Best way

“We had a great time during the development process and we discovered the best way to serve them, in our opinion, is from a martini glass filled with crushed ice,” says Olives Et Al founder Giles Henschel.

“Just pop a few on the top [of the glass] and hand them round to guests, although we do advise people to eat responsibly, as these really are alcoholic,” he adds.
