The festive creation took 50 hours to make and used 10kg of icing, 5kg of marzipan, 1kg of chocolate and a “large sprinkle of Christmas” magic.

The baker, who created the jumper, has previously baked special cakes for celebrities including: Radio 1 breakfast show host Nick Grimshaw, ITV programmes This Morning and Loose Women and Prince Harry.

She said it was “brilliant” to work with the Dr Oetker team on the #eatmyjumper creation.
Dr Oetker encouraged people to share the Christmas jumper on social media and posted:
