Wee Pie Company lands £150k deal with Aldi
The Scottish pie maker is celebrating after its new range of wild game and savoury pies hit the shelves at Aldi’s 64 stores in Scotland earlier this month.
The supplier deal is expected to be worth more than £150,000 to the Perthshire pie company over the coming year.

Martin used to manage a private estate in the north of Scotland where her own venison recipes proved popular with the guests.
The entrepreneur went on to found the Wee Pie Company in 2011 and her passion for locally sourced ingredients and traditional recipes continues to drive the business.
Aldi md in Scotland Richard Holloway said: “At Aldi, we source the best Scottish meat products to make sure our customers can buy quality, locally sourced products year round.

“We have already launched some artisan pies from the Wee Pie Company as specials and they have proved extremely popular with our customers.
“We’re expecting this new range to fly off the shelves.”
The new range of pies includes steak and black pudding, venison and red wine and buffalo and ale varieties. The 280g products cost £1.99 each.
The listing is part of Aldi’s drive to stock more upmarket products following the introduction of lobster and an affordable organic range.
The discounter sells more than 300 Scottish products and works with over 60 independent food and drink businesses in Scotland.
