Grocery think-tank IGD appoints vice-president

Coca-Cola European Partners Great Britain’s vice-president Leendert den Hollander has been appointed vice-president of grocery think-tank IGD with immediate effect.

Hollander has had a history of leadership roles in the food and drink industry, which included ceo of Young’s Seafood from 2011–2014 and md of Findus Group in 2011.

He said: “It is a great honour to take the reins as vice-president of IGD, an organisation which has a unique role in bringing together our industry from farm to fork.

“IGD delivers some fantastic programmes across people development and I am hugely excited about the opportunity to play a role in its future work.”

IGD ceo Joanne Denney-Finch said she was looking forward to welcoming Hollander as the orginisation’s new vice-president.

‘Feeding Britain’s Future’

“Leendert is well known in the industry and has shown that he is an avid supporter of IGD, in particular showing great commitment to our skills and employability programme, Feeding Britain’s Future,” said Denney-Finch.

IGD is a research and training charity that helps the food and grocery industry understand and adapt to the public’s needs.
