Time is running out to win a manufacturing Oscar

Time is running out to win a food and drink manufacturing Oscar – with the deadline set for Friday July 29.

This is your opportunity to win a coveted Food Manufacture Excellence Award (FMEA), which celebrate the best of British food and drink manufacturing.

The awards – now in their 16th year – are free to enter and showcase top achievement delivered by UK food and drink manufacturing firms and the executives who lead them.

Eight category awards cover all the main industry sectors including: ambient, bakery, beverages, chilled, dairy, fresh, frozen and meat, poultry or seafood.

The independent panel of judges will be looking for manufacturers that have delivered an impressive track record of success over the past year.

Boosted efficiency

They will be hunting for firms which have lifted output and boosted efficiency while pairing costs to the bone, improving their environmental management and developing their teams.

After submitting a category award entry, firms will be then eligible to enter one of five Industry Initiative Awards.

Five Industry Initiative Awards

Those include: Best New Use of Food Ingredients, Environmental Initiative of the Year, Supply Chain Initiative of the Year, Training Programme of the Year and Young Talent of the Year. See the full list of awards in the box below.

The evening will culminate in the big one – the Food Manufacture Company of the Year award. Last year the top award was garnered by Moy Park.

So, why not submit your free online entry today?

All the awards will be presented at our Venice-themed awards evening at the Hilton Park Lane in London on November 2.
