The early bird delegate rate for Food Manufacture’s annual, one-day food safety conference in October ends today (August 31).

The early bird ticket price offer of £328 + VAT per person closes tonight. From tomorrow the rate will rise to £399 +VAT per person.

This year’s conference – Boosting consumer confidence in times of change​ – will take place on Thursday October 13 at etc.venues, Prospero House London.

Chaired once again by Professor Colin Dennis, current president of the Institute of Food Technologists, the conference will be divided into four sessions, each focusing on a different aspect of food and drink safety.

The morning sessions will be: Ensuring safe and secure food supply chains and Product recalls: dealing with a crisis.

Knowledge is power

The two afternoon sessions will be: Knowledge is power – focusing on data technology to protect your business and Bugs and behaviours. This session will focus on a range of topics, including: campylobacter, microbial detection and the Biocides directive.

Taking part will be high-profile speakers from: Which?, the Food Crime Unit, Nestlé Research Center and Campden BRI, plus other leading industry experts.
