Moy Park appoints new finance boss

Poultry processor Moy Park Holdings has appointed Sian Land as its new chief financial officer (CFO) and will join the company’s executive board.

She joins the company from her role as group finance director at Asda-owned food and drink supplier International Procurement and Logistics (IPL).

Land replaced Helen Glennie, who served as interim chief financial officer for Moy Park.

A chartered accountant, Land has more than 20 years’ experience working for food manufacturing businesses.

Before joining IPL, Land served as CFO for office rental firm Bruntwood from 2011–2012. She worked as finance and IT director at Müller between 2004 and 2011. She has also held senior finance roles at Campbell’s Frozen Foods and Premier Foods.

Moy Park ceo Janet McCollum said: “I am delighted to be welcoming someone of Sian's calibre to the Company.

‘Experience of finance roles’

“She has substantial experience of finance roles within the food sector, which will be invaluable to Moy Park as we enter our next phase of growth.

“I would also like to thank Helen Glennie for her hard work and commitment as interim CFO, and we wish her very well for the future.”

Meanwhile, Moy Park was shortlisted for three awards in this year’s Food Manufacture Excellence Awards. It was awarded Food Manufacture Company of the Year last year.
