Centre stage will be the multi-billion pound global snacks industry, as leading experts identify the top trends driving the market, including the rising importance of sustainable and ethical sourcing.
The webinar, sponsored by the Almond Board of California (ABC), will arm delegates with all the latest information about hot new trends driving the global and European snacks industry. Also featured will be insights into sustainable almond production and how Californian farmers are implementing sustainable growing practices and maximising the efficient use of water resources.
Latest global trends
Taking part in the online seminar will be Lu Ann Williams, director of innovation at Innova Market Insights, who will profile the latest global trends driving worldwide sales.
Sebastian Emig, director general of the European Snacks Association (ESA), will map the growth of the Eropean snacks sector – which achieved retail sales valued at about €14bn in 2014. The ESA president will also explain consumers’ growth interest in sustainable and ethical sourcing and the sector’s progress towards healthy reformulation of snacking products.
