Meat firm Cranswick in new recruitment drive

Meat processor Cranswick is recruiting 33 new workers, including 20 roles across a number of departments, and 13 apprentices.

Cranswick is currently searching for full-time staff in new product development (NPD), food safety, supply chain, and other departments. The processor said it was looking for innovative, motivated and dedicated candidates to join its team.

An NPD controller role became available after a departmental restructure, Cranswick said. The role included creating and introducing procedures for NPD launches, while also assessing market trends to identify potential opportunities. The successful candidate will mentor the NPD team, Cranswick said.

Other full-time roles at Cranswick included: ingredients technologist, finance assistant, process manager, hygiene manager for nights, operational trainer and pig-breeding stock handler. See the box below for a full list of jobs being recruited for at Cranswick.

A Cranswick statement said: “We are currently looking for a number of apprentices to join us.
