It will be divided into four sessions, each with a different theme.

How safe is our food?

Session one will ask, how safe is our food? It will include the results of an exclusive survey of the key food safety concerns and opportunities faced by readers of Food Manufacture.

Featuring a keynote speech from Nina Purcell at the Food Standards Agency, session two will focus on understanding the legislation landscape.

The third session, emerging technologies and processes, will cover allergen contamination, blockchain, and how IT and data can overcome regulation challenges.

Culture and control

Implementing a food safety philosophy, the Food Industry Information Network, and product recall are the subjects covered in the last session – culture and control.

Meanwhile, developing trust with food safety regulators was the key focus point at last year’s Food Manufacture Food Safety Conference, according to Professor Walker in this exclusive video interview.
