Available in three different half-and-half chocolate variants, the eggs feature one side of 41% cocoa Ghanaian milk chocolate and, on the other, a choice between Belgian white chocolate glittered with crispy feuilletine, golden Belgian caramel dore with pink Himalayan salt, or 71% dark Ecuador chocolate with sweet superfruits.

Malt loaf brand Soreen has expanded its portfolio of snacking products this spring with the launch of Chocolate & Orange Mini Loaves.
The loaves come in multipacks of five and are all individually wrapped and positioned to be an easy grab on-the-go snack.
Bethan Brown, marketing director at Soreen, commented: “In the lead up to the Easter break, which is traditionally a time of indulgence, we tend to find that parents are interested in healthier choices for their children.
“Our colourful packaging is perfectly fitting for spring, but offers families a tasty treat that comes in at under 100 calories per mini loaf (98kcal), comprises 50% less sugar and 67% less fat than the average Easter cake bar, as well as being a source of fibre.”
Baby food brand Ella’s Kitchen has launched its first-ever line of dairy-free products.
The three new launches in the range included Banana Yummy Yogurt Alternative, Pear and Fig Porridge, and Rice Pudding with Bananas and Strawberries.
Each pouch is made with coconut milk as an alternative to dairy and is suitable for babies from six and seven months, including those who are dairy-free or have a dairy intolerance.
Chief executive Mark Cuddigan added: “We recognised that there hasn’t been enough variety for little ones who are dairy-free or have dairy intolerance, so wanted to use our weaning expertise to create a range that was both super-tasty and which introduces new tastes and textures to tiny taste buds.”
London-based family business Nush has launched a spreadable cheese made from almond milk into Marks & Spencer stores across the UK.
The cheese, claimed to be the first of its kind by the manufacturer, is available in two flavours – Natural and Chive – and is free-from gluten, soya, preservatives and additives.
Bethany Eaton, co-founder of Nush, said: “We are delighted to be listed in over 200 Marks & Spencer stores nationwide with our range of dairy-free cheese spreads, reaching the growing market of people across the UK who are wanting a healthy alternative to dairy cheese.”
Nourishment has added a bottled version of its milk drink into stores across the country.
Traditionally sold in pull ring cans, the launch of the bottled variant can now be shelved in chillers, generating greater visibility in stores and expanding its appeal to new customers.
The new bottles will come in the brand’s four hero flavours of Vanilla, Strawberry, Chocolate and Banana and are available to buy in cash & carries like Bestway, Dhamecha, AG Parfett, East End and Independent retailers. It will also be in some select Tesco main and express stores by May 2020.
Manufacturer Prodigy has launched two new products into its range of healthier alternatives to some of the UK’s favourite chocolate bars.
The two new bars, Coconut Cahoots and Peanut & Caramel Cahoots, are made to have less than half the sugar than mainstream alternatives, are vegan and feature plastic-free packaging.
Commenting on the launch, prodigy snacks founder Sameer Vaswani said: “I’ve spent a lifetime in the business of chocolate and I’ve seen the good, the bad and quite honestly, the evil ingredients and unhealthy processes that exist in so many chocolate snacks available today,”
“It’s time for a chocolate revolution and Prodigy Snacks is reinventing chocolate for the mainstream market. It’s a rebirth of how chocolate should have been made – we are taking the classics we all grew up with and making them better for you and better for the planet.”

Managing director of Unilever Food Solutions Hazel Destiny said: “With summer just around the corner and barbecue season almost upon us, we’re confident that our new squeezy format will prove popular amongst shoppers who are looking to enjoy plant-based alternatives to their favourite foods, with the added convenience factor.”
