Mace joins from Gritchie Brewery where he worked as sales and commercial manager, a business he helped establish for film director Guy Ritchie.
Prior to this, Mace helped launch Longflint Drinks – a start up brand now owned by East London Liquor Company. And he worked with Fuller’s in 2013 to set up a craft-focused sales team and worked on a range of import brand relationships including Sierra Nevada, Veltins, Chimay and Alhambra.
Newly created role
Chairman John Tiner added: “To support our growth we created the role of Commercial Director and I am delighted to welcome Jordan Mace to this position.”
“Jordan joins us at a key stage in our development with sales rocketing this summer due to our new partnerships, some key retail listings and the full reopening of hospitality businesses combined. Jordan’s expertise and experience will be pivotal to the business as we move forward and I am really looking forward to working with Jordan in the future.”
Mace’s appointment followed substantial investment by Salcombe into establishing its own bottling, canning and kegging facility, as well as increasing brewing capacity threefold and investing in the capabilities of the Salcombe Brewery team.
Rapid growth
Commenting on his appointment, Mace said: “I am so excited to be joining Salcombe Brewery Co. at a time of such rapid growth. This is a fantastic opportunity for me to share my knowledge and skills with a dynamic young team in the most stunning part of the UK. I am looking forward to being part of their ongoing success story.”
Meanwhile, Premier Foods has appointed former Coca-Cola Europacific Partners sustainable packaging director Nick Brown to head environmental, social and governance at the business.
Reporting to corporate affairs and ESG director Hannah Collyer, Brown will oversee the manufacturer’s environmental, social and governance agenda and will be responsible for delivering against the company’s sustainability targets.
