Undeclared peanut and egg in dessert bar
Iceland Foods has been forced to pull packs of Mars Dessert Bars after it was discovered there was peanut and egg in the product that were not mentioned on the label.
This was the result of a packaging error, which saw some packs incorrectly packaged with Snickers Dessert Bar. This meant the product was a possible health risk to anyone with an allergy to peanuts and/or an allergy or intolerance to eggs.
