Registrations are now open for Food Manufacture’s latest webinar – ‘How can food and drink manufacturers speed up the switch to renewable energy?’

With more food and drink manufacturers looking to reduce their carbon footprint, Food Manufacture deputy editor William Dodds will present a wide-ranging discussion examining how the sector can accelerate the switch to renewable energy sources.

The webinar will look at how firms are overcoming the challenges associated with switching, before exploring the new technologies that are now available and the ways that firms can start their transition.

Scheduled for Wednesday 29 November 2023 at 3pm, you can sign up to watch this 60-minute webinar via this link. The event is sponsored by energy provider E.ON.

The webinar will feature speakers including Simon Duncan, director of B2B solutions at E.ON; Tom Maidment, the group product sustainability senior manager at Hilton Foods; Rich Clothier, managing director at Wyke Farms; and Oz Russell, industrial policy officer at The Association for Decentralised Energy.

Duncan is set to focus on how manufacturers can make the switch to renewables, covering both the obstacles and solutions that exist, while Russell will analyse how geography and policy impacts the ability of food and drink firms to make the transition. Clothier and Maidment will then discuss their experiences from the perspective of a manufacturer.
