Just Love founder: 'No cake on the marketplace was safe for my kids to eat'
Mike Woods founded the business in 2009 when he saw just how difficult it was to find cakes for his two food hypersensitive children to enjoy.
At the time, there were basically no alternatives on the market and as a result they were excluded from parties and school events.
Since then Just Love has grown and expanded its reach, and Woods talks with great passion about his motivations and his vision for the future of the business.

During the chat, he also touches on his approach to leadership as someone with more than 25 years in senior positions and offers some advice for those looking to fill such roles in the future.
“We want to make sure that everyone gets that joy from the cakes that we produce, not just for them to be safe but for them to generate a smile too,” Woods said.
“We want to fill all the occasions when anyone might want cake whether that is grandma coming over for tea or having a snack at school.”
