New supermarket listings for vegan pizza, chilli oil and pancakes
Morrisons to stock One Planet Pizza
Vegan food manufacturer One Planet Pizza has secured a nationwide listing with Morrisons for its frozen 'Tex Mex' pizza.
Set to be rolled out in stores throughout October, the new recipe includes a wood fired sourdough base, tomato sauce and plant-based cheese made from white beans. It is topped with marinated vegetables and jalapeños.
The brand was founded in 2016 by a father and son team, and has enjoyed strong sales at Asda with 41% year-on-year growth.
One Planet Pizza’s full range includes the ‘Margherita’, ‘Peppernomi’ and ‘Hawaiian’.
Commenting on the listing with Morrisons, co-founder Joe Hill said: “We can’t wait to spice up Morrisons freezers with our outrageously tasty Tex Mex.
“Our mission has always been to make vegan pizzas so good that even meat eaters want a slice. We’re pretty proud that our strong sales, reviews, and brand growth suggest we are doing exactly that.”
Banhoek Chilli Oil gains Sainsbury’s listing
South African brand Banhoek Chilli will be listed in more than 350 Sainsbury's stores nationwide from 5 October.
Having entered the UK market in 2022, the brand’s oils are 100% natural and are sold in ‘Original’ and ‘Garlic’ varieties.
Sainsbury’s will initially list the original flavour – which is made with sun-dried bird’s eye chillies and premium rapeseed oil – at £8.50 for a 250ml bottle.
Established in 2017, Banhoek Chilli Oil also has a presence in the US, Ireland, Denmark, Germany, Australia and South Africa.
“Securing this listing with Sainsbury's is a significant achievement for Banhoek Chilli Oil and underscores our commitment to growing our presence in key global markets,” said co-founder Ken Kinsey-Quick.
“With the UK consumer's evolving appetite for hot and spicy flavours, we see tremendous potential for continued growth.”

Available now, the product is retailing at £2.30 per pack and aims to meet the demand for convenient, ready-to-eat snack options.
Abra-ca-Debora’s classic Dutch pancakes are already listed in Tesco and Co-op stores.

“With convenience being key for today’s consumers, we believe our product is perfectly positioned to meet the growing demand for quick, tasty, and versatile snack options.”
