Technical Coordinator: Cocoba Chocolate
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 per annum, plus benefits

Based in Rochester, Kent, luxury chocolate brand Cocoba is on the search for a new technical coordinator to join its team.
The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for ensuring the firm’s strict adherence to stringent quality standards, regulatory requirements and technical standards throughout the production process.
They will also need to provide technical expertise and leadership to the quality team, assist with driving continuous improvement initiatives for product safety and quality and ensure compliance with industry-specific technical standards.
Candidates with the relevant technical certifications are highly desirable, while Cocoba is hoping to recruit someone with strong organisation, communication and leadership skills in addition to a technical focus.
Additional desirable skills include attention to detail and an analytical mindset, as well as in-depth familiarity with food safety regulations and technical standards. Finally, Cocoba is searching for someone with extensive experience in the food industry, particularly in technical quality management roles.

Product Developer: Bart Ingredients Co
Salary: £28,000 – £45,000 per annum, depending on experience

Herbs and spices supplier Bart Ingredients is seeking a product developer to work at its facility in Severn Beach, Bristol.
The role involves supporting the NPD manager on the delivery of key projects, while also managing product development for the Bart brands and other customers.
The successful candidate will be an ambassador for the innovation process within the wider NPD team and drive consumer-focused development by seeking out insights, trends, new competitor products and promoting product knowledge.
Other responsibilities include leading product development brainstorms, recording and documenting the NPD process, ensuring product information is completed in the correct format, attending and co-ordinating factory trials and development days, and formulating samples in accordance with company and customer guidelines.
Desirable characteristics include two years of experience in a commercial food development background and relevant food technology qualifications.
The role is 37.5 hours per week from Monday to Friday, although Bart Ingredients offers flexible working, with the core working hours set between 9.30am and 3.30pm and the remainder of working hours taking place between 7am and 6pm based on preference. Employees can also work up to two days a week from home.

New Product Development Manager: Monoluxury
Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum, plus benefits and relocation assistance

Salad and herbs grower and supplier Monoluxury Sdn Bhd Malaysia is seeking an innovative NPD manager to work from its facility in the city of Johor Bahru, currently under construction, located near to the border with Singapore.
While works take place at the new site, the successful candidate will be required to work at Highlands farming facility and factory which is situated 48km from Kuala Lumpur.
The role involves conceptualising, developing and launching new food products for customers spanning retail, air travel and food manufacturing. Candidates will need to be able to work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing, technical and operations.
Key responsibilities include production ideation, product development, formulation development, sensory evaluation, packaging development, regulatory compliance, cost analysis and product launches.
Applicants are required to have a degree in food science, culinary arts or a related field, in addition to at least three years of NPD experience within the food sector. To assist with the transition to living in Malaysia, a relocation packaging including accommodation costs, Visa arrangement and additional bonuses are offered.

Artisan Craft Baker: BAKA
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum, plus food allowance and a bonus scheme

Independent bakery BAKA is hiring an artisan craft baker to join its team in the town of Hay On Wye.
Now under new ownership, BAKA is seeking a passionate and experience craft baker that can help take the business to the next level.
The successful candidate will be responsible for opening the bakery in the morning and setting up, clean equipment and the kitchen, preparing ingredients, making and baking a range of products from scratch, using machinery and mixing and creating fillings.
Other responsibilities include supporting with weekly planning and stock control, conducting quality checks and developing new recipes.
Requirements for the role include a level 2 understanding of food safety practices and familiarity with a professional kitchen, while a certificate from a culinary school is preferred.
The role requires 40 hours of work per week as well as the ability to commit to weekend and early morning shifts.
