Ecotone, which owns brands such as Clipper Teas, Kallø, and Mrs Crimbles, has named Bryan Martins as UK CEO.
Martins succeeds outgoing chief executive officer Emma Vass, who has served at the helm of Ecotone UK for the last 7 years. Vass departs the business for with a new role confirmed at Gu Desserts.
Martins brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in the UK and Europe’s FMCG industry. His background includes a significant tenure at Danone, where he managed renowned dairy and bottled water brands, including Evian and Activia.
He joined Ecotone as UK marketing director in 2018, tasked with strategic oversight and leadership of the UK brand and category teams. Later, he became chief marketing officer for the Ecotone group, driving its focus on developing growth in core categories and innovation across the European portfolio, including Clipper teas & Bjorg.
As the second largest market for the Ecotone Group, the UK has an ambitious business plan to deliver double-digit growth over the next five years.
