The French manufacturer of baked goods such as bread and patisseries has acquired organic and artisanal inspired bakery company Pandriks Holding B.V for an undisclosed sum.

This major acquisition will see Bridor continuing to grow globally, in particular strengthening its foothold in North West Europe.

Founded in the Netherlands in 2012, Pandriks makes artisanal inspired bakery products both under private label and through its own brand, 'SlooOW'. The business has two facilities – one in Meppel, the Netherlands; and the other in Fulda, Germany where it is known as ‘Bio Breadness’.

PANDRIKS has a turnover of €150m (2023) and 400 employees and will continue its journey with 'both its brand and values being preserved' under the BRIDOR umbrella.

This move is part of Bridor parent company LE DUFF’s Group’s (turnover of almost €3bn in 2024 and presence in 100 countries, including the UK) commitment to accelerate growth in the bakery segment.

“The integration of Pandriks will expand the Group’s production capacity and bolster its product portfolio, particularly in the organic bakery market,” said founding chairman of LE DUFF Group, Louis Le Duff.

PANDRIKS CEO, Peter van den Berg, added: “Pandriks has grown significantly in recent years and wants to invest in further expansion to optimally serve our clients. With LE DUFF Group as our new shareholder, we believe that it is possible to achieve our goals while preserving our unique identity, philosophy and strategy.”
