Authentic Food Company appoints commercial and finance director

The Authentic Food Company has undergone a full strategic review to help it through the current economic challenges.Andy Underwood​ has been appointed commercial director. He joins after seven years at Creative Foods where he was general manager.

Piran Mitchell​ has also been appointed to the board as finance director, after working for Perkins Foods for 13 years.

“These are very exciting times for us and I am thrilled to welcome the new board,” md Nik Basran said. “I am confident that we have appointed the best people for the job and we are now looking forward to improving what is already a good business and achieving our growth aspirations for the group.”

In addition, Paul Harnetty​ has been promoted to the position of operations director having previously been technical controller.

The Authentic Food Company is a supplier of international fine foods to the food service and retail sectors.
