Stricter sterilising for sealing stand-up pouches
The machine enables the running of high and low acid products under strict sterilising and sterile parameter monitoring. It can produce stand-up pouches with a yield up to 6,000 packs an hour in 'two-up' configuration with format range from 70 to 400ml. This system can also produce pouches with drinking or pouring fittings.
The Pro-A2 comprises a pouch maker and uses skids for the decontamination of packaging materials and the machine itself. An automatic film-splicing device with hoist facilitates film roll changes and avoids machine stops and the system uses heat-sealable, coextruded-base packaging materials. The machine's programmable logic controller monitors and sequences each phase of operation.
The system enables the constant disinfection of packaging materials via wet hydrogen peroxide. Maintaining slight over-pressure of air and hydrogen peroxide vapour avoids recontamination.
