Nutrition stars celebrated at NutraIngredients Awards

The awards – organised by our sister title NutraIngredients.com – aimed to celebrate stellar achievement in the fields of ingredients and finished product innovation in large and small firms and universities.

Among this year’s winners, celebrated at a gala dinner attended by hundreds of guests from the European and international food and nutrition sectors, were: Metabolic Technologies and TSI Group for its sports supplement, BetaATP and Swinburne University of Technology, Australia for research on curcumin and cognitive function and mood in healthy older people.

3,000 NutraIngredients readers​

Nearly 3,000 NutraIngredients readers voting in the Readers’ Ingredient of the Year category selected Liquid BioCell LIFE, SKIN and SPORT by Jusuru International as their winner.

NutraIngredients senior editor, Shane Starling added: “The quantity and quality of entries was so strong it really was hard to select winners. Every finalist brought products and concepts that deliver real nutrition benefits to the world.”​

Preparation for the NutraIngredients Awards 2016, which will be hosted during next year’s Vitafoods Europe, between May 10-12, has already begun.
