Star performances from the fast-moving world of food nutrition were celebrated this week in the inaugural NutraIngredients Awards, staged at VitaFoods Europe, Geneva, Switzerland.

The awards – organised by our sister title NutraIngredients.com – aimed to celebrate stellar achievement in the fields of ingredients and finished product innovation in large and small firms and universities.

Among this year’s winners, celebrated at a gala dinner attended by hundreds of guests from the European and international food and nutrition sectors, were: Metabolic Technologies and TSI Group for its sports supplement, BetaATP and Swinburne University of Technology, Australia for research on curcumin and cognitive function and mood in healthy older people.

3,000 NutraIngredients readers

Nearly 3,000 NutraIngredients readers voting in the Readers’ Ingredient of the Year category selected Liquid BioCell LIFE, SKIN and SPORT by Jusuru International as their winner.

Preparation for the NutraIngredients Awards 2016, which will be hosted during next year’s Vitafoods Europe, between May 10-12, has already begun.
