Interfood takes on Alco equipment distributorship
Alco machines used in the preparation and processing of meat, fish, poultry, vegetable, potato and dairy products are now available from Interfood, the German manufacturer’s sole distributor in the UK and Ireland.
The range includes machines for mixing, forming, flattening, tenderising, slicing, coating, cooking and cooling foods. As well as individual items of forming, breading, frying, cooking and freezing equipment, it also manufactures complete production lines.
The addition of Alco kit is said to be a good fit for Interfood’s existing product offering, adding further capabilities to its Preparation Division and Cooking & Cooling/Pasteurisation Division.
“As with any new distributorship that we take on at Interfood, we will be backing it with a dedicated team of engineers to ensure that the service and support is there to maximise the potential of the equipment,” says Interfood joint md Mark Bishop.
