Müller Yogurt and Desserts senior appointment
Bevans joined the dairy manufacturer from coffee firm Jacobs Douwe Egberts (JDE), where he spent almost seven years across leadership roles – most recently serving as marketing director for UK and Ireland.
Prior to his time with JDE, Bevans enjoyed a successful career at Kraft foods and Mondelez, where he worked on a stable of brands across the coffee, confectionary, biscuits and cheese categories.
Chief executive’s comments
Müller Yogurt & Dessert chief executive Justin Cook said: “Toby joins Müller at an exciting time as we look to create millions more Müller moments for our consumers.
“We intend to set the pace in the categories we serve, innovate to expand our reach and accelerate the development of our business, and I look forward to having him on board.”
Bevan’s appointment followed the departure of Michael Inpong at the end of 2021, who had previously held the role of strategy and marketing director for the past nine years.
Commenting on Inpong’s decision to leave the role, Cook said: “We are grateful to Michael for his hard work, energy and commitment, and we wish him all the best for the next chapter of his career.”
From JDE to Müller
The appointment of Bevan from JDE comes less than a year after Cook’s own departure from the coffee giant in March. Cook also spent his career prior to JDE in senior market and regional positions at Kraft and Mondelez.
